Den 5.–7. juni 2026 har vi igen fornøjelsen af at byde velkommen til Beatrix Baumgartner fra Østrig – en af verdens førende eksperter i arbejdet med afspænding af fasciale strukturer hos dyr.

Beatrix er pioner inden for overførslen af fasciateknikker fra mennesker til dyr og har gennem mange år udviklet og forfinet sit arbejde med både heste og hunde.

Kursus i 2026 – for både heste- og hundeterapeuter

I 2026 er kurset åbent for både heste- og hundeterapeuter.
Beatrix vil demonstrere teknikker på både heste og hunde, og der vil være begge dyrearter til rådighed i den praktiske undervisning. Det betyder, at du som deltager selv kan vælge, om du ønsker at arbejde med hest eller hund under de praktiske øvelser.

Trin 1 og Trin 2

I 2026 underviser Beatrix over tre sammenhængende dage, opdelt i Trin 1 og Trin 2

Trin 1 – Grundlæggende fasciaarbejde, flossing og fazer (1,5 dag)

Fredag d. 5. juni: Hele dagen
Lørdag d. 6. juni: Første halvdel af dagen

Trin 1 er åbent for:

Nye deltagere, som ikke tidligere har deltaget i Beatrix’ undervisning
Tidligere deltagere, som ønsker at gentage, repetere og få genopfrisket indholdet

Trin 2 – Fordybelse i FDM (1,5 dag)

Lørdag d. 6. juni: Sidste halvdel af dagen
Søndag d. 7. juni: Hele dagen

På Trin 2 går Beatrix i dybden med FDM – Fascia Distortion Model, som hun tidligere har introduceret kort på sine kurser.

Indhold og opbygning

Treatment of fascia – theory and practice (Trin 1)

In this practice seminar, Beatrix Baumgartner will introduce you to the basics of fascia anatomy, function and pathology. Various treatment models, training principles and tools in theory and practice are presented - in particular Flossing and instrument assisted fascia therapy (Fazer).

The fascinating world of fascia has become an integral part of today's treatment of animals.

FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) (Trin 2)

In this practice seminar, Beatrix Baumgartner will introduce you to the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM). It is a special medical approach and was developed by the American physician Stephen Typaldos DO. It attributes the cause of physical complaints and restrictions in function to one or several typical distortions of the fasciae. Correction of these fascial distortions is an efficient, measurable and reproducible way of correcting pain and restricted mobility.

FDM diagnosis is based on three pillars and leads to an independent FDM diagnosis. In this context the interpretation of the patients’ body language and gestures is of major significance. With precise observation intuitive gestures can be decoded thus providing direct clues about the present fascial distortions. Case history and examination complement the FDM assessment.

The FDM can be applied in various medical fields. It expands the diagnostic options of doctors or therapists and often facilitates an effective treatment of patients with varied medical diagnoses.

Currently the FDM approach is successfully used for complaints of the locomotor system and for pain therapy.

The aim of every FDM intervention is to correct the anatomical arrangement of the fasciae. Once the fascial distortion is corrected, an immediate improvement of the loading capacity, mobility and/or pain reduction can be expected. Long periods of rest are not necessary and rapid resumption of activity is possible.

FDM has been used worldwide for over 30 years on both humans and animals.

Sted:
